Do we know for sure: does PDR come with navigation or not?
I searched around, found no definite answer. Anybody know for sure if we get it or not?

So far, gm has not allowed the PDR system to be sold without nav. There is no reason to believe this has changed. I'll check when I get a chance to go back into the ordering system though.

It does not come with Nav. The radio code is still IO5, which is the non-nav uplevel Mylink.
I'll say this. If you plan on tracking the car at all, PDR is worth it. I wouldn't dream about owning one without if I were going to track it. I loved it in the ATS-V. With Cosworth Toolbox, you can really analyze all of the data from the recorder to help improve your times. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9Ptt3_gMp0 http://www.cosworth.com/toolbox/ |
Friend of mine ordered a 1SS 1LE late last week. Has IO5 Infotainment, no selected option for Navigation and added the PDR to it.
Also, pointed out the math back in September, right after the price was released: http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showth...97#post9301897 |

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I always gravitate towards using my phone (Waze/Google) instead of in car nav anyways.

It appears that this will in fact be the first offering of PDR without NAV. With Apple Carplay and Android Auto, thats a welcomed move.

I'm old and not super tech savvy, but like navigation and bluetooth. Have any of you used Apple Carplay to do navigation in your 1LE? I've heard that Google maps can't be used and Apples nav isn't too hot
