No Heated or Cooled front seats
I was just checking my 2SS 1LE build on the Chevy site and noticed that they have removed the Heated and Cooled front seats. Anyone know if this is something that can/will be retrofitted later like the rear parking assist?

If you've got Recaros, you can retrofit the cooling feature at any time

My dealer said my order for tpw 4/18 still shows them both on there, and that generally speaking other vehicles sold without heated/cooled seats are typically returning to finish out in a couple months.
If that's true at least it isn't too awfully long of a wait. Still hope mine comes with them anyway though |
My 2SS 1LE has a build date of 4/18 as well and Dealer said no constraints on the build all but the rear park assist. Keeping my fingers crossed. does that ever change after the build order is accepted and moved to 3300 staurs?

There was a previous announcement (I don't recall the source) when GM began leaving these features out that the wiring, etc. for the heated/vented seats will be included and the chip/controller can be retrofitted by a dealership when they become available free of charge. That should apply for the normal and Recaro seats. I think they're giving like $100 credit for the inconvenience.
However, the heated steering wheel, as I recall reading, can NOT be retrofitted, so that feature becomes a loss. Probably unimportant for those in warmer climates, a bigger loss for anyone in the north. ETA: here's one link on the retrofit. Google brings up others https://www.cars.com/articles/gm-ann...ortage-444306/ |
What exactly is the “Chevy site” you are referring to, OP?

Guess I should have been more specific? |

Stating “your build” gave me the impression that you had an actual order number and knew of a site where one could see current status. I misunderstood it as some real information. |
