Even though it is just a photoshop, I really like it! Not so much the tail lights, but It reminds me of an Audi A7. Those are my weaknesses :wub:

Don't think the rear of the car can carry the total theme of the car. If they go somewhere a bit fresh, I'd say it needs a longer rear end with out the long slope into the trunk, needs a more aggressive stance... Reminds me of the Monza as well...hmmmmm

[QUOTE=Mr Twisty;6309314]Whoever did it has skills... nice job.

Sorry gang, late 2 the party, Agreed Mr. T.

Nice call Twisty, was thinking the same C4 lights, angular spoiler etc just just not as exaggerated as 80's Vette. Like the colors, and side views. Roof and eng cutouts/gills remind me of Mercedes and the rear fender haunches scream Bentley

The tail looks more like the late 80's Vette than anything else, that's not a bad thing.

Can't do it. tried and i can't. don't really like that my fourth gen is like a hatch. only thing that saved that is the spoiler

If my stool was a rendering of a car it would look like that.

Blekkkk! A Mustang rear end and "2+2" roof line just doesn't cut it on a Camaro.

Dr. Evil 09-10-2013 04:00 PM

I'm loving this newest design. The top pic in silver looks great IMO. A fastback or hatch style Camaro wouldn't be the first. I covered up the 2016 Camaro and showed it to the wife and she immediately thought Camaro and exotic. Imagine a front lip spoiler on that cat and a mild spoiler. Lots of room to make it aggressive looking. The windows look like they'll give a lot better visibility. The A pillars are thinner too, helping visibility. Visibility is something that has been a consistent knock against the 5th gen and well derived.
I doubt they'd be able to get the hood line as low as in the pic but it'd be great of they did. Talk about low COG :) This is by far the best version with the most potential I have seen so far.

JB12ZL1 09-10-2013 04:13 PM

reminds me of a porsche panamera only with an ugly rear end.

Redvert13ZL1 09-10-2013 04:21 PM

I would like to see more pics of the front end and hood lines.. I don't love it but I don't hate it either.... The rear end does make you think mustang tho.

people just have to take the time to learn how to properly adjust their mirrors and there would be no "visibility" issue.

You could have mirrors the size of a tailgate and it might help. The 5th gen has poor visibility. The A pillars are as big as a telephone pole and when you change lanes you hope there isn't a motorcycle to your right. I love my 5th gen and have gotten used to it but the only thing with worse blind spots is a panel van.
