Hi All..

Just join this forum as I am new 2016 Camaro SS owner (HooRay!!). I have been doing some research....and the more I research there more I am confused as there are a lot of opinions. Here is my ask; What is the most effective way of getting into the 500 HP club? Is it Cold Air Intake, Exhaust and Tune? If so what is the recommended products? In my research, I have concluded that the cost vs the HP gain is not worth it. Furthermore, it was mentioned that the 6th generation Camaro air box is a better design than the past. As a result dropping in a K&N air filter is the best bang for your buck? As far as the exhaust I have the NPP exhaust option and do not see why I would go to an aftermarket as the seems loud enough and is a pretty cool option. We all know that noise does not necessarily mean HP unlike our Mustang friends.

Any and all feedback is appreciated. Thanks..

Best bang for your buck will be e85. Just about everyone on here can agree with that. It's a for sure 25-35 whp gain depending on your tuner.

There's also the supercharger route that'll net you a huge gain, but of course, a little more expensive.

500 hp at the engine or the wheels?

Engine...Just want to be quicker than the average bear...Particularly--Annoying Mustangs owners..

At the engine, E85 + tune would get you close like SSDanny said. Assuming its available where you live.
