I wouldnt trade in mines for no smaller camaro because that's one of the things that stands out about it because you can have the best of both world's almost a full size sedan but in a two door form wont see anything like it again to many typical coupes a small two door mustang, 350z, 645bmw, many Moore so this 5th Gen is more rare than ppl realize until later when every car is smaller then a bug so the camaro seems like a car special made by a rich Guy that wanted a the best of both world's not look like everybody. Else a typical to door small compact camaros will be looking like the size of the smart car smart car soon and weight if I'm really that worried about weight I would take stuff out and if I'm really worried about the speed I'll just spend moneyand make it fast your going to spend more than that on a6th Gen I don't want my camaro the size of a smart car sorry or 350z or mustang there's. Another Chevy for that the Corvette

I would trade mine in IF the 6th gen had 500HP OR a Z/28 LS7 6th gen for $45k which neither one will happen. So ill keep mine. Buy a 1SS 5th gen for as cheap as I can and MAKE it weigh 3500lbs tops with 500HP minimum.

I've also thought about buying a mustang and installing an LS7 with a 6spd using their rear axle. I know this could be done, and I'd do it myself not to mention stripping out a 3500lb mustang I'd get it down to 3200lbs.

And so when is it you have seen this 6th Gen Camaro ? You would be the ONLY one who has seen it to make such a statement.

Honestly i couldn't do it. My 5th gen is my first car and hopefully will stay with me forever it has sentimental value to me

For me it depends on the size of the 6th Gen. If it's anywhere close to the size of my Sky, then the answer is no. If the cabin is big enough for me to get my butt in and out of, hell yes in a heart beat. Besides it's my turn to pick out a car. The wife and I take turns picking, and she picked out the ZL1 on the last go around.

3500 pounds, $35,000, 500HP, otherwise I'm keeping my 2010.

This guy knows what he's talking about. Especially the no fancy front fascia. I don't want to sound contradictory,:frusty: I do have a ZL1 and I love it:wub:. It just looks mean:paddle:. But maybe had the 2012 COPO's:iono: not been super expensive and been streetable, then something like that may have caught my attention instead.

To the question of the thread. I hope a 6th gen comes along that I fall in love with. I won't give up my ZL1, after all I made sacrifices to get a 2012 because I wanted one from the first year, but I'd like to semi retire it into my garage and not use it as a daily driver when it gets about 50k miles on it so I can enjoy it for many years to come. So I'll be looking for something and I hope it's another Camaro.

:sorry:about all of the smiley faces. It's the middle of the night and where as I'm not drunk, I might as well be from lack of sleep. That's the problem with this site, it's too awesome, I don't want to get off of it.

You have an awesome wife, if she picked the ZL1 I'd just let her pick all of them from now on:clap:
