2016 Vert Production?
 

I was just informed that GM has stopped production on the 2016 Verts. Any idea on validity of this and if so, why? Any idea on how many were actually produced? I was fortunate enough to get mine in, it's sitting on Dealer showroom waiting for me to pick up, sometime in early May, when I get back in town.

The 17s are due out in the summer, so it could be possible, but I have not heard anything definite.

My dealer told me that mine is the only allocation he was able to received. He ordered 5 other ghost allocations and did not receive any. He also ordered one additional pre-bought allocation, denied by GM with stated reason, build out complete. Kind of surprising, since he has been attempting to buy since allocations have been available. I'm guessing extremely limited production on the 2016s. My 2011 is a pre-production, build 2 weeks before production run started.

Can't be true. If so, '16 convs. are rare!

Rare would be GOOD!!!! Mine should have been delivered to the Dealer Tomorrow, Dealer called on Monday and said they have pulled it for QC hold???? No movement since 4-13. SO Here I SIT with NO IDEA of a delivery date, Could be Tomorrow, Could be a MONTH!!!!!! LOVE ordering NEW CARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:help:

mine was 13 weeks. Deposit on Jan 6th. 16's are SWEET!

I hope I get mine order was placed this Monday. Last check was 2000 status

77Z85, If Mine takes 13 weeks, HEADS WILL ROLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think Yours was a very early built car, Mine was built 3-28 I REALLY hope it gets here SOONER than JUNE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you know of anyone who actually received there's in the 6 to 8 weeks quoted

When I ordered it there was no timing. 3,4,or 5months. The salesman made it clear in jan. he had no idea. This is the only conv. sold by them (2 coupes) ALSO.

Becky stated its a false rumor.

Six weeks, three days. Ordered on 2/26, deliver to me 4/11.
