What Do You Like To Use For Navigation?
I like to use Google Maps via Apple Car Play.......This has gotten me to and from a lot of hard to find places.
My only complaint is I wish GM would adopt the satellite feeds like Audi does for their navigation system so you could actually see the surroundings of where your going instead of the cartoony look of google maps and the optional navigation system that I wasted money on.... |
I like the waze , not only in the car but also on the motorcycle due to it not only listing up traffic issues but road obstacle and of course the spotting of potential speed infringement observers

This 'Projection' and 'Android Auto' has essentially rendered the Navigation option on the car useless, in my opinion.

google maps & car play. Have NAV in the '14 and it's rubbish compared to the app.

I like to use WAZE and only Waze..now only if they can integrate that into Apple Car Play I will be golden. Waze helps me a ton with police and detour around traffic..I agree with Chevy on they motto: "Find New Roads"
|
I use my android gps that comes with the phone. Its powered by google which takes its info from google earth. If youve used google earth you no that you can pretty much see any street in the world with it.Doesn't get any better then that.

WAZE through Android Auto

When the route gets complicated (city driving, with its one way streets and all that), factory Nav, because of the HUD integration.
When I care more about long distance and traffic en route (especially avoiding it, especially away from the big roads where XM Traffic doesn't cover), Android Auto/Google Maps. |
Waze! If Apple ever allows it in CarPlay, I will be a happy camper
