I like the idea of an oddball 4cyl 2.0L turdbo to power the 6th Gen Camaro, as long as it provides very good power and performance.... 2.0L needs at least 320-325hp in a 3300lb Camaro... 3.46 rear gears and maybe an optional 3.73 rear... I love a V-8 too but am always open to new and interesting motors....

Here is an IPF tuned Buick with the 2.0.

:word: I'd love to see a boosted 4-cylinder. It should help make the Camaro accessible to those tuners who want one of the most distinctive performance vehicles on the road. With the reduced weight of the Alpha platform, there's real potential.

...go to GM authority and research 4 and 6 turbos, it's the future, here now, going Corporate wide...

just wait and see.......

Maybe it'll get a trubo 4cyl with 330HP and quad fart cans.

I'm not saying it will.

The 4.3 V-6 going in the new trucks could boost horsepower and improve mileage at the same time. They went with the 6.2 displacement in the LT1 to ensure that the motor had enough torque when running on 4 cylinders. The same applies with AFM on the V-6. I would much rather have a NA V-6 myself.

The more I think about it...the more I think I'd be ALL over a T4 Camaro to replace my Cobalt...
