Good idea of '16 Camaro front

Headlights only like you said look like a possibility

Wouldn't surprise me , I do not like that ever since the 5th gen Camaro has come out and been a hit , that GM among others brands are now making cars that do not deserve to look like a Camaro cousin. Stop it !

Clearly the lights wil not be a direct carryover, but looking at the shape, I would not be surprised to see a very similar shape and lens pattern on the Camaro

Those headlights don't line up with the camo car that we've all seen. I don't see Chevy skimping out on design costs so I'd say no to your picture.
