I hope not, but I could see GM doing what Ford did and insert the 6th gen in for a brief cameo. The last Transformers movies were free marketing, GM isn't stupid.

What cameo did the 6th gen mustang make? Just out of curiosity, I cant seem to remember any instances of it.

Ahh, now that you say that, I do remember this.

Transformer Prototype Video.

I hope the 6th generation Camaro resemble this car. The look is starting to grow on me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zXQ-tQFPB4

meh. I guess it's ok. Wheels look good.

Apex Motorsports 06-01-2014 02:46 PM

No. Just no. Looks bloated and soft.

classicrockr 06-01-2014 03:35 PM

doesn't look too bad....depending on the price & what was in it, I would probably buy it.

MikeT 06-01-2014 04:33 PM

I don't think that there's any possibility of the new car looking exactly like this.

The only question is whether things like the front grill & headlights are a preview. Could I live with those? Sure. Am I blown away by them? Not really.

Muscle Car Lover 06-01-2014 06:50 PM

Um, no.

Bhobbs 06-01-2014 06:52 PM

It looks like a cartoonish version of the 14 refresh.

This...but I am not saying I wouldn't rock it if it was a bit lighter with some tweaks for the alpha platform.

I hope the new generation doesn't look like a refresh of a refresh and I doubt GM would let that happen either.

+1. It's a camaro, not an Aston Martin.

OUTATIME 06-02-2014 06:52 PM

It's a 5th gen with a different front clip. I really hope the 6th gen doesn't resemble that in any way.

PoorMansCamaro 06-02-2014 06:58 PM

It looks like Rocky after a few rounds of getting hit in the face.

Jackass 06-02-2014 07:15 PM

Cartoonish at the most !

Red Chief 06-04-2014 05:43 PM

I think the 2016 will be mechanically superior to the current gen but if that's what it winds up looking like on the outside, I'll be scouring dealerships for a low-mileage 2013.

AZCamaroFan 06-05-2014 09:43 AM

i looked at the new issue of Entertainment Weekly last night and Michael Bay was talking about the Camaro for the movie and he said GM is 'shrinking the Camaro" so i wondered how much inside info he got while they were building that car.

It was a little jarring at first, but it looks like a further evolution of the 2014 to me. The front end is softer, but i kind of like the headlights actually. I'd buy one, just so long as they leave the black body cladding off the car. If you're going to build a bulky car, own it. Down try to hide it by black stuff out like i'm seeing on lots of cars and SUV's lately.

Michael Bay is probably pissed because it can't hold as many explosive devices or laser lights in a smaller body...

shine2013 06-05-2014 01:37 PM

If that's the case, then I'm buying either a Hellcat Challenger or looking for a Z28 in 2016 when I start looking for a new car.

wakespeak 06-05-2014 02:07 PM

Looks like a very strong possibility to me for the Gen6, though not very original looking. It looks like a toy; overly futuristic. Maybe the retro thing is played out, but this is too much the other way. Seems like GM would reach out to boomers and gen X a little more.

woodside783 06-05-2014 02:13 PM

Looks a lot like some prototypes they had out a few years back I think this is what the 6th gen could look like but in a differnt body
