Looks like A Ferrari Italia and a Maserati had a kid

O hell no! That design is god awefull!
CRUZN-SS VIA tapatalk |
Looks like a genesis
Definitely not a CAMARO...Chevrolet won't do that to such a great car. But take the name off it and call it something else and it would sell. I'd be willing to bet a lot of peeps would buy something like that....I kinda like it!!! Especially if Chevrolet came out with it as another cool option of car to buy in addition to the SWEET GEN 5 we already have.....just sayin'.
I like it.
Disgrace to the name Camaro
cruz tail lights with a genesis coupe body and an old dodge stealth head lights . . terrible
looks better than the 4th gen turd nuggets that nearly killed the camaro model. or at the very least doesn't look any worse....
ferrari, maserati, hyundai, corvette, and camaro slammed into one
it looks cool from the side and back, but the front view is pretty ugly.
both of those are:barf: those arent muscle cars!
It's definitely not a Camaro at all - doesn't have any of the lines that it should.
That said, there are a number of areas that would need tweaking before I'd like it. That said, this isn't a GM design at all. Looking at the renders for the ZR1 Corvette, GM is if anything doubling-down on the hard lines. No way they'd do something smoothed out like this, and especially not for the Camaro. If the Camaro were to get "smoother", I think it would still need to retain the overall lines, ala the following: http://www.daves68camaro.com/webpics...n-camaro01.jpg |
FOOD FIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is absolutely terrible..
Its the c-pillars. Its my opinion, but when you use generic shapes on heritage rich cars then you risk diluting its image and heritage that make it desirable. That is a similar analogy that could explain why the '04-'06 Pontiac GTO flopped in the US; Everything about the GTO was great except the styling.

History is repeating itself...again. Remember how 5th gen internet renderings began to appear long before the concept cars arrived with blogs and threads. Once the concepts began showing up, forum photos and threads followed again while all the while Chevrolet is watching, more importantly listening to us and taking notes. The end result, given mass production limitations, govenrment regulation constraints and practical costs resulted in the fastest, safest and baddest Camaros available to the public.
I for one was so excited about the ZL1 it reminded me of when I was 16 and was waiting for my 1980 Z28 - can't sleep and Camaro anticipation consumed most of my free time. I am a grown damn man for goodness sake!! My prediction is this: with Ed Welburn at the design helm, the 6th gen Camaro will be another huge success! Of course, the killer performance model will probably not be available until year 3 again. Hey Chevrolet, can we engineer a couple of ZL1 \ Z28 like performance packages in year one so I don't have to wait until year 3 again? |
That picture of a possible future 6th gen. Camaro made me puke a little in my mouth. No thanks GM i will drive my current 5th til' the wheels fall off.
I was going to wait for the 6th gen camaro to upgrade to a v8 in my garage but if they try to merge the 2nd gens with that then no thanks lmao. I plan on saving for the 7th gen laguna blue stingray though. Paying this off in July then I can start saving for that sexy mofo:drinking:

Z-28
Hi guy's, first post here. Been following this thread and there is an awful amount of dislike for the new Camaro rearend. I personally think it's going to be the car future generations will want to own. I like the new styling alot. It imho is a vast improvement over the current offerings. It is absolutely in line with previous Camaro styling. All the mentions of imports are a stretch and a skewed view of Camaros past. I'd love to own the new Z-28. Regards

Don't like the headlights. They need to remain within the face of the camaro, not become part of the lines of the camaro. Reminds me far too much of something like how our fiestas headlights are designed into the shape of the car. The lines need to be much more defined. There needs be a more well defined difference between the hood of the car, and the fender.
The whole thing is just too much of a deviation from the current design of the car. I would not be tempted to turn in my 2010 2 SS for that. |
Sick joke for having a camaro look like this
