On my way home yesterday traffic came to a dead stop. When i got up close enough i saw this poor broken Camaro on a flatbed that had caught on fire. Oh the humanity. I could hear the fire truck in route behind me.

We should all have a moment of silence followed by collectively playing Queen's Another One Bite The Dust.

Has anyone figured out what is causing the Camaro's to light up like the Marlboro man? I know the Silverado/Sierra problem is related to the fans not spinning up at idle and the engine is overheating, but haven't looked up if anyone solved this problem yet.

thats crazy.....

If in fact it's the Camaro burning, it appears to be coming from the rear...near the battery.

That's a sad situation for the owner of that Camaro. I also hope that driver's flatbed truck was not damaged.

From what i could see as i passed. It was the flatbed engine bay that was on fire. Couldn't find any more info on it in the local news or anything. Was crazy though.

Damn Dave when read post before opening thought it was going to be your car. Man that stinks for the owner. :(

Is that McMullen Booth?
|
The pic makes it look like the Camaro is doing a burnout on the truck.
