I just want to know when is the exact date the camaro comes out to dealers

production starts March 16th. We should start seeing them at dealers by the end of march. It will take quite a while before you can buy one off the lot though, there are 12,000+ preorders.

Unless you get lucky and find a dealer with a canceled pre order sitting on his lot

Thats not for certain. some dealers may have allocations that they didn't sell.

i put a down payment on 2ss rs feb 5 2009, dealer said he would but the order in thursday feb 12,2009 and that i was 3rd on his list. will my order be part of the 12,000+ preorders????

yes, assuming your dealer had an available allocated spot to do so. All dealers were given an allocation back in october, they can only order as many as they were allocated.

I'm sure it will be around here soon. Start looking at dealerships late next month, all dealerships should have at least one floor model to show or sell as they please. I don't know if there's any auto shows coming up but you won't miss a camaro there as the lines will be the longest for it.

the "exact date" is 12:15 :55 on April 1 st 2009. REALLY!
