6th gen reveal and Detriot autoshow

I've seen other threads and the possible reveal date, nothing solid. So I came accross this for the detroid auto show. Doesn't look promising here either.

What in there leads you to believe the 6th gen will not be revealed?

well in looking in other threads right below mine (http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=387737) there was a small segment that its "rumored". Now, I would have imagined it would have been a possible mentioned in the article that a debut of the new 6th gen. I still have high hopes for Detroit.

Yeah not sure where GM is at all in this process..

I wouldn't read into it, a reveal like this is not typically leaked in advance...

If it's going to be revealed at the Detroit show, we'll probably know something after Christmas.

One month from tomorrow, baby. Mark your calendars.

If the premier IS at Detroit, it will be kept super top-secret. We MAY get lucky, as Z/28Forever said, and get a hint dropped after Christmas.

Did you kids notice that the Chevy presentation is the VERY FIRST ONE scheduled for Monday, January 12? Coincidence? I think not.

Is the CTS-V also getting revealed at this show? Possibly the Tuesday Caddy presentation?

The CTS-V engine details will tell us a lot about the future for the gen6.

I wonder what is Nissan's big "Brand Changing" announcement.. They are going back to being Datsun??

I think the CTS-V has a better chance of being revealed in Detroit than the Camaro. Pretty sure it's coming with the LT4 judging from what Ive read on here. I thought GM said the Camaro wasn't being revealed in Detroit and that they had no plans for the reveal yet?

They never officially said it wasn't coming. In a light-on-facts article a month or so ago, USA Today reported that someone at GM said 'there were no plans.'

Brand Chevrolet is leading off the Monday press conference. That's the prime spot... with everyone's attention. If not then, when? New York? With no Buick or GMC press conferences at NAIAS, obviously they're saving their 2nd tier brands for the 2nd tier show(s).

It's happening. 1/12.
