Another Lighter Blue would be great. I couldn't get the ABM so I have what I have.

If no medium blue shows up for our Camaros, then I might have to look at the Cuda Convertible in 2016 as my next car. Especially if the Cuda is smaller & lighter than the current Challenger. Dodge has had pretty good color selections for the Challengers...I'd take Plum Crazy instead of a medium blue

Bring it back

I finally put off getting a 2013 so I can do a refi on the house and get a few things done around the house (painting, etc). My goal is to see if a decent blue is offered for the 2014 or 2015. If not then I may end up moving on to a competitor. I understand about GM not wanting to do "unpopular" colours. Hyundai has certain colours only at certain trims and I passed on Genesis Coupe because I could not get both the blue I wanted and the accessories I wanted.
Hopefully something will be offered and I will be able to still order it in either December or January. |
If I said it once...I've said it a million times.
Love my ABM....love that its a rare color....glad its MINE!!! I don't think its coming back, and I don't think it should. But why GM won't make Kinetic Blue a regular color is just beyond me. Its freaking gorgeous. That said, if they do make it I'll probably sad that there is more beautiful blue out there and not just my car. lol |

The color %'s are skewed due to availability.

If you look at DuPont popularity charts on their web site, light blue, much like jet stream blue is number two or three in Europe and Asia, behind silver and white, in North America it is near last. I agree ABM could and should have been lighter like jet stream blue, but we did not have any other choice, just happy that Chevy bent to pressure and allowed ABM on the SS, as it was to be V6 only.

Autoweek has an article about the Indy pace car as a Laguna Blue Corvette, seen testing in Michigan test track, goes with the hotwheels Camaro Blue.
Mulssane Blue was lighter than Jetstream Blue, My 1970 Camaro was Mulsane Blue. |

I considered Aqua blue. But the color sample they showed did not do the color justice, and the fact that GM did not offer any accessories in this color (splash guards, and painted engine cover), really just pushed me to red jewel. I still love every Aqua Blue I see.

I say no, I love mine and its one of a few! Leave it this way!
