I have added the Roto Fab, dumped the stock exhaust and 2nd cat, and just added the Anderson Copo hood so I can added the Holley high rise intake manifold. The intake is order and should be here by next week. I have an appointment for the 19th of May to get the intake installed and a tune.

I am hoping for 505 HP after tune, I am not doing my build to be the fastest. I just want a diff look and a bit more power then stock. I will show results of dyno after the 19th of May.

Front splitter and side rocker panels are my next project after turning....... then will I stop. Probably not....... lol

Wow ... black phantom. Hell-a-awesome!

Huh? Holley has a high rise for the current Gen V LT1? I know they have one for the old EFI LT1, but not for our engine.

Hope they do.

Edit: I stand corrected. Looks like they do!

Is there a different hood this can clear under or was this really the only option?

BlackbeastSS2 05-03-2017 04:09 PM

Not 100% sure, but this was my option to clear the height and make sure the high rise tunnel ram fits with no problem. Will update with pics on the 19th.

No
Problem and no need to say sorry. Everyone's taste is different, cars and women fall into that category if you ask me.

It's also the build processes of how one gets to their own personal goal
of extra power. My choice is different and I am very happy with my direction. You could post your ride, I might like it.

I like big fat tires, check out my rear 315. Maybe u like smaller ones?

Gonna lose bottom and probably a portion of the mid range. On near stock LS3s this has been the norm and really needs a healthy cam and cubic inches to make this intake work, and even then they lose torque vs the stock intake. You'll be happier with the mid if you're set on doing this.

In your signature I don't see a cam, head work or even headers to help get to 505.

3500-8000+ RPM Power Band listed by Holley
