Shipping weight is NOT accurate. It's close, not exact like a digital four wheel scale...if I recall with vehicles, a 2-3% varience is allowed. It's just to calculate total weight for a trains load.

Its cool that the 1SS has the same lights as the 2SS. I couldn't stand before when the 1SS didn't get those halos and just normal cheap lights.

If I was going to buy a 2016 SS I would get the 1SS with no options, keep it light and fast. Truth is you dont need MCR or NPP.

I had a 2010 and a 2012 1SS and both had halo lights. They came with the RS package as far as I know.

The HID lights were part of the RS package, yes. 2SS had them standard, optional on 1SS

The 2SS didn't come with halos, they were part of the RS package & you could get the RS on either SS package (and you could get it on the V6s too). There was no difference, exterior wise, between the 1SS and 2SS.

Dyno, not dyno, sea level, Denver, 1/4mi, 91 vs. 93 all point to the same thing (unless the #DriveNewRoad cars are ringers like DG3 said), getting 500RWHP/TQ is going to be an absolute joke.

Sorry Fanboys, the race has been locked and sold, perhaps Ford will have better luck with 2 years R&D against the 2017 ZL1/Z-28.

Not true....at least not on the earlier 5th gens, and I don't believe the 2015 is that way either.

I'll check.

EDIT: Nope...the 2015 2SS doesn't get them standard either.

If you notice on the vid, the 417 rwhp is with STD correction factor and the 399 is with SAE.

Yes, I mentioned something like that in post #13. All the dynos have been so similar too. 399, 400, 405 and 406 if I recall...

Your post says that it's blocked off. But if you pause the video, you can clearly see that it's STD correction factor, vs SAE correction for the still image. That will account for the majority of the difference.
