While waiting on my order to be accepted I started reading the owners manual (as one does :smiling1:).

You can disable Keyless Access Operation from the remote itself pretty easily. That should take care of all the potential relay attacks.

OP and others, appreciate the heads up. Guess I need to get an apple tag or lojack for my SS. But wonder these days if the police will do anything with the info..... but that's different non-car discussion.

Not mine as it stays in my garage 100% of the time unless I'm driving it...

a friend here in Houston who only had it one month and it was Vivid Orange with full PPE.

So that's basically disables repeater type of attack? You need to physically press unlock button for thugs to get in?

That's the way I read it. I'd go test it out but I don't have a Camaro yet.

The terms and conditions to use there App , Apple air tag , you half to agree too. Every App you install on your phone, when you agree, (we all have apps installed) can track you see what you doing on your fone . How many of you have installed the Air Tag app to detect.

I tried it and it works - button on door handle does not work anymore.

This feature is apparently not available on the 2018 models.
