Not positive but the GT40 was around in the 60s...probably before the trim level

But the name isn't taken from a trim level though, its a derivitive of the old GT40 name. They lost the naming rights (and made the car taller than 40 inches) so it couldn't really be named GT40. So they went with just 'GT' instead.

Wanted to bring this up with you guys as well.

Is it just me or are there two different designs going on for the D2SC Cruze?

In these shots, the Impala-esque character line over the rear wheel is very evident.

In these, the curve seems to disappear.

Now it could just be super clever camo or just the angle each photo was taken. Just odd to me.
